Both presentations cover the same basic topics. Both start with an introduction dealing with the issues involved in creation and evolution. Matthew’s goes into detail about the Blind Watchmaker concept while Delise’s gives basic information about evolution contrasted with the Genesis account of creation. Both then cover various animals and the way they point to God as their creator. Woodpeckers, bombardier beetles, four-eyed fish, nudibranchs, butterflies, wood frogs, octopus, termites, sand grouse, and cuttlefish are among the over 20 chapters. Other topics discussed include the life found on the bottom of the ocean and the way spiders and insects raise their young. Still photos, artwork, and some video are used to illustrate all of the various topics. Both presentations end with an overview of the wonders of God’s creations and a final slideshow of photos accompanied by classical music.
Delise’s presentation is designed for children up to 10-12 years of age. Matthew’s presentation is designed for teenagers and adults. The children’s version is 15 minutes shorter than the adult version.
Our goal and mission is to show the beauty and complexity of the animal world. We hope to share what we have learned about nature so that others can be more informed about the abundant science supporting creation. We also hope to make it entertaining and visually striking.
